1. Controller
The controller responsible for processing personal data on this website is:
Mark Gerhard

Phone: +49 156 30130763
Email: info@salesmarker.de
2. General information
This privacy policy explains which personal data we process when you visit our website or contact us, the purposes of this processing and your rights.
Personal data is information that can identify you personally. This includes, for example, your name, email address and IP address.
3. Website hosting and operation
Our website is provided through Lovable. When you access the website, technical connection data is processed. This may include, in particular, your IP address, access time, pages visited, browser and operating system information, and the website you visited previously.
This data is processed to deliver the website, keep it running reliably and identify technical errors or misuse.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (DSGVO). Our legitimate interest is to provide our online services securely and reliably.
Recipients of the data required for these purposes are Lovable and the infrastructure providers used for technical delivery. Technical log data is retained for as long as necessary for operation, troubleshooting and security. In the event of specific security incidents, longer retention may be necessary for investigation.
Information on data processing by Lovable is available at:
https://lovable.dev/privacy
4. Contact enquiries and forms
If you contact us by email, phone or a contact form, we process the information you provide. This may include your name, business contact details, company affiliation and the content of your enquiry.
We use this data to handle your enquiry, answer follow-up questions and, where appropriate, prepare a proposal.
If your enquiry relates to a contract with you or pre-contractual measures taken at your request, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (DSGVO). For other enquiries, particularly communication with company representatives, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (DSGVO). Our legitimate interest is to handle business enquiries.
Providing your information is voluntary. Without sufficient contact details and information about your enquiry, we may be unable to respond. Required fields in the form are marked accordingly.
5. Enquiry form
If you use the enquiry form on this website, we store your required details (first name, last name, business email address, company, company stage and a description of your growth goal or enquiry of at least 10 characters), together with your phone number if you choose to provide it, in a database to handle your enquiry and contact you. Submission requires your consent, which you may withdraw at any time for future processing.
The purposes and legal bases described under “Contacting us and contact forms” apply accordingly.
6. Online Growth Check
If you use the online Growth Check, you submit your company name and email address (both required fields), along with your answers to questions about your sales situation. Your answers include information about sales processes, goals, tools used and current challenges. We do not ask for your name in the Growth Check.
Your answers are used to calculate an overall score, a maturity level and an evaluation of the individual dimensions. Your company name, email address, answers, overall score, maturity level and scores for each assessment area are stored in a database provided through Lovable (see “Website hosting and operation”).
The information is stored to reliably display your result — even if the additional email notification could not be delivered — and to assess your starting point, identify possible actions and prepare any consulting you request. The information submitted is also delivered by email to our mailbox.
The legal bases described under “Contacting us and contact forms” apply accordingly.
Taking the Growth Check does not automatically subscribe you to a newsletter or regular marketing emails.
7. Email communication via Google Workspace
We use Google Workspace to receive, store and process business emails. In particular, Google and its service providers process email addresses, message content, attachments and technical communication data.
This also applies to form content sent to our email mailbox.
The purposes and legal bases are those applicable to the respective communication, as described under “Contacting us and contact forms”.
Information on the data protection terms for Google Workspace is available at:
https://workspace.google.com/terms/dpa_terms.html
8. Processing outside the EU and EEA
Using Lovable and Google Workspace may involve processing personal data outside the European Union and the European Economic Area, particularly in the USA.
The providers offer contractual safeguards for these transfers, particularly the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Details of the respective transfers and safeguards are available in the providers' privacy and contractual information linked above. You may request further information or a copy of the relevant safeguards using our contact address.
9. Analytics and advertising tracking
Optional statistics/analytics functions are only loaded after you give your explicit consent in the cookie banner. No connection to Contentsquare is established without consent. Essential website functions remain available regardless of your choice.
Your choice, including the time and version of the consent information, is recorded in your browser's local storage for up to six months. This information is stored to manage and document your choice on the basis of § 25(2) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (DSGVO). You may withdraw your consent at any time for future processing via “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page. The page then reloads to stop all active tracking; accessible Contentsquare/Hotjar tracking cookies and local tracking entries are deleted.
Contentsquare usage analytics
We use Contentsquare for usage analytics. The script used is loaded from t.contentsquare.net and sends analytics events to c.ba.contentsquare.net. The review of this website did not identify a separate legacy Hotjar script. Contentsquare describes its role when processing data on behalf of its customers as that of a processor. Its published European data protection contact is Content Square SAS, 7 rue de Madrid, 75008 Paris, France, email: privacy@contentsquare.com. The provider’s data protection contact does not necessarily identify the legal entity that has a contract with the website operator.
The purpose is to analyse website usage, such as clicks, navigation and session recordings, to improve the website. Technical browser/device information, pages visited, usage events, pseudonymous visitor/session identifiers and connection data may be processed. Forms, input fields and the entire Growth Check are masked before the script loads; session recordings on /sales-check are additionally excluded. We do not send names, email addresses or answers as our own analytics events.
The legal bases are your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (DSGVO) and § 25(1) TDDDG. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing and does not automatically delete data already sent to the provider.
During our browser review on 18 October 2026, the first-party cookies _cs_id (visitor identifier), _cs_c (session recording consent status) and _cs_s (session information) were detected on the .salesmarker.de domain after consent. The measured initial lifetimes were approximately 395 days and 10 hours for _cs_id and _cs_c, and 30 minutes for _cs_s. The provider's documentation describes the lifetime of _cs_id and _cs_c as 13 months. No Contentsquare cookies were present in these tests when consent was refused or after it was withdrawn. Browsers and subsequent configuration changes may affect these lifetimes.
Cookie lifetimes are not the same as retention periods on the provider's systems. In its public privacy information, Contentsquare gives general default retention periods of 13 months for personal data in the solution, three days for IP addresses and one month for session recordings. The provider expressly notes that these periods can be adjusted on request. These published defaults do not confirm the settings or contractual arrangements that apply to this website.
Contentsquare publishes a data processing agreement covering international data transfers, as well as a list of subprocessors. Processing outside the EU/EEA is possible. Technical connection addresses alone do not establish where data is stored or which transfer safeguards apply to this website. You may request information on processing and your rights from the controller named above or Contentsquare's data protection contact.
Provider information: Privacy information and default retention periods , Cookie documentation , Data processing agreement and Subprocessors .
10. Retention periods
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective processing purpose.
Data from enquiries and Growth Checks is deleted once processing is complete and there is no further legal basis for retaining it.
Where statutory retention requirements apply, continued storage is based on Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (DSGVO). Any additional retention required to establish, exercise or defend legal claims may be based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (DSGVO). In these cases, use of the data is restricted to the respective retention purpose.
11. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have the right to:
- access your stored personal data under Art. 15 GDPR (DSGVO);
- rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data under Art. 16 GDPR (DSGVO);
- erasure of your data under Art. 17 GDPR (DSGVO);
- restriction of processing under Art. 18 GDPR (DSGVO);
- data portability under Art. 20 GDPR (DSGVO).
Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time for future processing. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Right to object under Art. 21 GDPR (DSGVO)
Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (DSGVO), you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then stop processing the data concerned unless there are compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
You may object to the processing of personal data for direct marketing at any time without giving reasons.
To exercise your rights, please contact:
info@salesmarker.de
12. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly in your place of habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
The supervisory authority responsible for us is:
Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg
https://www.baden-wuerttemberg.datenschutz.de
13. Updates to this privacy policy
We update this privacy policy when data processing on our website or legal requirements change.
